Ellora Caves

A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Maharashtra, India, comprising 34 Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain rock-cut monasteries and temples excavated into a basalt escarpment between roughly 600 and 1000 CE, the largest and most elaborate of which is the monolithic Kailasa Temple.
