Glacial Transport Hypothesis
A minority geological hypothesis, principally advanced by Brian John, that Pleistocene glaciers carried Stonehenge's bluestones most or all of the way from Wales as natural erratics; largely rejected following the absence of confirmed glacial deposits on Salisbury Plain and re-analysis matching key boulders directly to the Welsh quarry sites.
